March Metrics is a personal project that provides college basketball analytics for informational and entertainment purposes. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site and how it is handled.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data, including pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and general geographic location. This data helps improve the site experience. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Vercel Analytics may also collect anonymous performance data (page load times, Core Web Vitals) to help monitor site performance.

If you choose to subscribe to updates, your email address is collected and stored by Buttondown, a third-party email service. Your email is used solely to send occasional updates about March Metrics (new features, tournament analysis, next year's data). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Your data is never sold to third parties. Email addresses are stored only in Buttondown and are not shared with anyone else. Analytics data is processed by Google and Vercel per their respective privacy policies.
